In my first official episode as Melaya Music, I talk about why I’m here: to claim my name, claim my space, and share the reason behind the music. I grew up with developmental delays, learning differences, and a speech impediment, so I move slow. But moving slow gave me depth. I treat the internet like a sketchbook. Some ideas take years, some come out of nowhere. I love collaborating, I’m learning the business, and I’m building a creative life that feels like mine. One day, I’ll release the album I’ve always dreamed of making completely on my own. Until then, expect songs, visuals, experiments, and an honest process, because growth still counts even when it’s messy.
